Our Mission:
The North American Association of Asian Professionals - Toronto Chapter (NAAAP Toronto) - is committed to inspiring leadership, fostering professional development, cultivating diversity in the workplace and in our community.
About Us:
NAAAP (North American Association of Asian Professionals) Toronto is a non-profit volunteered-based association which aims to provide professionals of Asian ancestry with a forum within which to foster their business and social contacts while preserving the cultural heritage of Asian Canadians. As an integral Canadian Chapter in an International organization, NAAAP (National Association of Asian American Professionals) is uniquely positioned to leverage and mobilize the talents, inputs and resources of an Asian professional community that spans coast to coast, encompassing over 18 cities in Canada and the United States.
NAAAP Toronto's membership includes working professionals from 25 to 45 with various levels of education, professional and business backgrounds. With a mission to inspire leadership, cultivate professional development and foster workplace diversity, NAAAP Toronto delivers an exciting regular schedule of events, networking mixers, a mentorship program, monthly seminars and workshops on a variety of topical subjects ranging. In collaborating with community-based service groups, joint projects with businesses associations and other peer professional organizations, NAAAP Toronto actively promotes community involvement.

The first NAAAP Chapter is founded in New York City. |
| 1986 |
NAAAP Boston founded. |
| 1987 |
NAAAP Chicago founded.
NAAAP New York, Boston and Chicago create NAAAP National.
First national convention takes place. |
| 1992 |
Seattle’s Asian Management Business Association (AMBA) joins NAAAP National |
| 1994 |
NAAAP Houston founded.
NAAAP Colorado founded. |
| 1995 |
Los Angeles’ Asian Professional Exchange (APEX) joins NAAAP National as an affiliate. |
| 1996 |
San Francisco’s M Society West and Club Asean join NAAAP National as affiliates.
Los Angeles’ APEX becomes a chapter. |
| 1997 |
NAAAP Atlanta and Dallas’ PA2 join NAAAP National as affiliates. |
| 1998 |
Seattle hosts the National Convention.
NAAAP Vancouver and NAAAP DC are recognized as official NAAAP Ventures. |
| 2000 |
NAAAP Toronto is founded and launched in January 2001. |
