
Eunice Chen

Eunice Chen joined TD Bank Financial Group in August 1996. She has held various progressive management roles including Group Manager, Visa Customer Service and Special Events Coordinator where she was responsible for providing internal support in the area of event planning to all divisional business partners. In 2008, Eunice assumed her latest position as Manager, Diversity Community Relations, which supports TD’s community giving strategy, with a focus on diversity. Her areas of focus include the following:
- Creating an Inclusive Culture for Aboriginal Peoples
- Serving Diverse Communities
- Creating an Inclusive Environment for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Ally Employees
- Building an Agenda for People with Disabilities
- Expanding Leadership Opportunities for Members of Visible Minority Groups
- Expanding Leadership Opportunities for Women
Eunice’s most notable accomplishments in this role include establishing a volunteer engagement strategy by cultivating a cadre of volunteers who staff most of the festivals and events that TD sponsors as well as launching a series of networks to help with employee engagement in the community.
Eunice has always championed the importance of giving back to the community. As such, she founded the TD’s Community Involvement Committee when she worked in London, Ontario. The purpose of this committee was to create a streamlined and consistent approach to community giving and employee volunteerism amongst various TD businesses.
Eunice has spent the majority of her 14 years with TD working in Toronto, London (Ontario) and offshore in Pune, India.
Eunice currently volunteers her time fundraising and increasing awareness for the MS Society of Canada. She has been a regular participant of the 160km Annual MS Bike Tour from Grand Bend to London since 2004. In addition, she spends her time walking / running / biking for other charitable causes as well. She also spends her time volunteering with Canadian Bankers Association and United Way by teaching financial literacy classes to young people, those living on a limited income and newcomers.
