NAAAP Toronto's programs are focused towards encouraging our stakeholders and members to explore their leadership potential. With a holistic approach to ensuring a well rounded program for personal, professional and career development, NAAAP Toronto actively collaborates with many community and Association Alliance Partners.
 Dollars & Sense Program |
NAAAP Toronto partners with Junior Achievement of Central Ontario by participating in their Dollars and Sense Education Program. Junior Achievement's mission to inspire and educate young Canadians to experience free enterprise, understand business and develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills is well aligned with NAAAP's mission of "We Make Leaders". In a typical program delivery session, over twenty seven NAAAP Toronto members sign up to teach classes of grade 6 and 7 students in different high schools the essentials of managing money and the importance of investment choices. We invite you to join us in mentoring leaders of the future. |
 Workplace Diversity Symposium |
NAAAP Toronto's Workplace Diversity Symposium takes place twice per year. The Workplace Diversity Symposium is part of NAAAP Toronto's Special Edition Business Mixer Series delivering an interactive session with a guest panel of accomplished Asian professionals working in under-represented industries. The audience and guests experience stories first hand as the invited panelists share their inspirations, what it took to get where they are, breaking down stereotypes, and overcoming career challenges. Guest panelists are carefully selected and invited for their leadership, accomplishments, commitment to the community, and exemplifying pride in their heritage.
Past guest panelists have included Susan Fong - Ontario Provincial Police Constable, Hannah Sung - a recognized Much Music Video Jockey (VJ), Sunny Fong - a popular woman's fashion designer and featured at the L'Oreal Fashion Week, Lieutenant-Commander Albert Wong - Canadian Forces Public Affairs Officer, Chan Hon Goh - Principal Dancer with the National Ballet of Canada, Anne Thornley-Brown - An Executive Coach, Karen Sun - Executive Director of the Chinese Canadian National Council, Thien Huynh - Reporter for SUN Television and much more. |
